THE ASSESSMENT DETAILS

A mental health assessment offers a structured way to understand emotional, behavioural, and psychological concerns. It helps you and your clinician make sense of the symptoms or patterns you’ve noticed and how they impact your daily life, relationships, and overall well-being.

Through a combination of interviews, questionnaires, and history-gathering, the assessment aims to provide a clear picture of what you’re experiencing. This may include clarifying a diagnosis, identifying contributing factors, or outlining support and treatment options, whether for personal growth or accommodations in school or the workplace.

Our general mental health assessments screen for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related difficulties, OCD, burnout.

When questions are more complex—such as exploring ADHD, personality traits, or overlapping conditions your clinician may recommend additional testing or more in-depth reporting to ensure you receive the most accurate and helpful guidance.
